Wondering what some of the best books you have read on poker are? I have read the hellmuth one and it was pretty good. I am interested in Caro's poker tells too. I am particullary interested on a good limit poker read.

Good limit poker books:

Ed Miller: Small Stakes Hold'em.
Sklansky&Malmuth: Hold'em poker for advanced players.

Readning Sklansky's Theory of poker won't hurt your limit game, but it's more general book. Also Brunson's SuperSystem2 has good (but quite short) section about limit poker, written by Jennifer Harman. You might also want to take a look at Ciaffone's "Middle limit holdem"

John Voorhaus has great books. Lou Krieger's books are excellent. Sklansky/Malmuth have the best books in general, but they aren't easy to apply and will be over your head unless you work on the concepts right away and use them regularly. Truth is no matter how many times you read it, figuring out how to think outside of the box to get one extra bet from an opponent is a concept 90% of the poker playing population just isn't going to comprehend.

I haven't read them...but i heard Dan Harrington's books are good if you're already a half-decent player and are looking for some intermediate level strategy.

All the books listed so far are very good choices. You would benefit by reading any of them.
In my opinion, 'Small Stakes Holdem' should be the top book on you list, foll-
owed closely by 'Low Limit Holdem'. Read them over and over.
'Book of Tells' is good and should be read in the future. However, tells repre-
sent a relatively smaller proportion of profits than the solid foundation SSH and LLH will give you in limit Holdem. Stick with the basics for starters.

The second one was mentioned, however I have been under the impression that those two books are mostly geared towards no limit hold em.

The 2+2 "For Advanced Players" series books are all great. Those not yet mentioned include Tournament Poker, Seven Card Stud, and High-Low-Split Poker. The last 2 are co-authored by Ray Zee, who is not only a good writer, but one of the top cash players in the world.

Here are a few lesser-known but very valuable books that feature compilations of short articles: Improve Your Poker by Bob Ciaffone, and Poker Essays vols. 1, 2, and 3 by Mason Malmuth.

Phil Gordon's Little Green Book is also excellent.

Harrington's books are by far the best MTT tournament books ever produced. Vol 1 will also help your cash game play; vol 2 will help your SnG play. They are essential reading, in my opinion. If a player is only half-decent he shouldn't play in another tournament until he's read both books a couple of times.

So which of these books will help with online play? Seems a lot of the poker books I've read are mostly if not completely geared toward live play but I wanna read a bit about internet strategy

I've only seen one internet book so far in this thread; any others worth reading?

For online play, Hilger & Harrington are the nuts if you ask me. Super System is worthless online because those fancy bluffs work in tight B&M games but you'll be called 80% of the time online.

For online tournaments play rock solid early on and hoover up the fish calling your pre flop raises with A4 offsuit and J7 offsuit etc. Then become a tiger when you get near the money unless your image has been damaged (by showing down a weak hand or by folding to a reraise, for example). NEVER fold the small blind head to head unless you are raised, and even then you'll often be offered pot odds for the call.

The easiest opponents are the ones who are too aggressive early on and the ones who are too passive late on.
